Methodology of Sport Training and Coaching [SPS 280]

This course integrates knowledge of the various disciplines of sport science to enable students to plan systematic and scientific training programs advocating the periodization approach covering the scope of; physical, technical, tactical, psychological, and theoretical knowledge development for optimal sporting performance. Students will be exposed to planning and conducting of practice sessions. Understanding in coaching specific groups also will be introduced in the course.
