• Cage Arena: Battles take place inside a 7-meter hexagonal cage, emphasizing the concept of “No Way Out”.
• Age & Weight Categories: Structured for children, youth, and adults, with progressive allowances for techniques such as throws, locks, and TKOs.
• Scoring System: Points are awarded transparently – 1 for punches, 2 for kicks, 3 for throws, 5 for locks, plus artistry marks – with a maximum of 150 points over three rounds.
• Safety Priority: Children are protected with mandatory gear, while dangerous moves like neck locks or knee bars are strictly prohibited.
• Professional Governance: Referees, judges, medical officers, and even VAR (Video Assistant Referee) are integrated to ensure fairness and modern credibility.

Silat EVO is not only about combat. It was designed by UiTM researchers led by Prof. Dr. Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie, integrating biomechanics, coaching science, and cultural studies.
